Our two-week stay at Are Kapakapa was absolutely incredible. This family-run gem offers a unique blend of comfort, hospitality, and natural beauty that truly makes it stand out. From the moment we arrived, Vaa and Joliene, the wonderful hosts who manage the property, welcomed us with such warmth and genuine care that we instantly felt at home. Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our stay was perfect made the experience unforgettable. The property itself is a slice of paradise. Surrounded by lush coconut trees, the entire house exudes a peaceful charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the close proximity to the beach—just a short walk away. It’s hands down one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters that made every moment there magical. The house is fantastic—spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped to provide a cozy and comfortable experience. The cool sea breeze and the thoughtful layout of the house ensured we were always comfortable. It’s clear that Vaa and Joliene have put great effort into making Are Kapakapa a home away from home for their guests. Another highlight of our stay was exploring the fruit trees around the property. The coconuts were a delightful treat, perfect for a refreshing snack after spending time at the beach. Every aspect of Are Kapakapa reflects the love and effort that Vaa and Joliene pour into their hospitality. Katrina the daughter of the owners was absolutely unbelievable. There was a few technical issues when we arrived and she had them all sorted with a personal visit. She even took us to the shop to get some groceries, beautiful beautiful place to stay immaculate grounds out the front. There’s a swimming hole channel that’s just a few hundred metres up the beach overall could not fault. Across the road there is a fantastic little coffee shop for breakfast and they do lovely Asian food for dinner. Had the best sausage roll ever. Not really recommend this location and property.

Kathy and Jael are super friendly people! Accomodation is directly situated at a sandy beach with great opportunities for snorkelling. It was breathtaking. Very good cost/performance ratio. The villa comes with a motorbike.

Everything was above and beyond. The outdoor showers were awesome. Great snorkeling out front. Close to a couple places to eat . Can rent Escooters onsite which was awesome. We stayed 3 nights , then 2 nights in One Foot Island and now 2 nights elsewhere on island....I wish we had returned to Etu Moana

Great spot! Away from the main tourist resorts, super clean and a cafe 10 metres away, ran by our lovely host! We had such a good stay, waking up to the beach every morning was amazing. The villa was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Would absolutely recommend!

Everything - it was close to everything, comfy, well set up, great value, but my favourite thing was the hosts and the hospitality. Also the lagoon toir was amazing

Kura is the ultimate host! We were welcomed with a traditional flower garland and were shown the island before we were dropped off at Rangiriri Vacay. The unit is all you need for a nice stay in Aitutaki it's well centred in town and was very clean. We even had fresh coconuts waiting for us and the room had bottled water and papayas. Kura went above and beyond in also helping us rent scooters and driving us to the rental place. We're keen on coming back some day and we will 100% check availability at Rangiriri for that trip.

The PERFECT place. We basically had our own beachs and you could walk to great restaurants nearby.

Vaea and Marokii are lovely hosts. Their bungalows and their treatment deserves a 12/10. Keep up the good work you two. If we ever come back to Aitutaki, we definitely want to stay there again. We also recommend doing the lagoon trip with Marokii and getting the scooter, there is quite a lot to see. So enjoy your time on the island, it is simply stunning.
