This was a fantastic base for our stay on San Cristobal. The property was fun and quirky, but also very comfortable and in a great location. The bedrooms were both big with big and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom was clean and pleasant, and the living room was cosy. The garden was also perfect for a drink in the late afternoon. The property is located on the edge of town so the area is quiet and safe, however it is only a 5 minute walk to the town centre that boasts a range of restaurants, bars, and shops. It is also less than 5 minutes to the beach and the interpretation centre and the many trails that start around this area too. Our host was also very friendly and would answer any questions we had regarding the island.

Nice, clean room in a little house with private bathroom. Drinking water provided, the hosts were nice. The location was a little far from the center and it would've been nice if you were allowed to use the kitchen. Generally a great option and very good price.

Right on the seafront near the ferry terminal. Big room and cleaned really nicely everyday. Staff were friendly. They had a big tv and Netflix in the room. Had a really nice family feel.

Charming building in great location (walking distance to Playa Mann, Interpretation Centre, and the city centre). Host and staff are very friendly, and provided almost instant answers to all questions through WhatsApp. All rooms have fans. Hot water in the shower. Nice, well-equipped kitchen. It's 2 km from the airport, 10-15 minutes walk from the main pier. In general you can get by walk everywhere and there's a lot of shopes around (unfortunatelly with no big choice and without prices displayed but it's a norm on San Cristobal). Alexita and her daughter, who live in the house, are friendly. There are two rooms for rent, one with private bathroom. Whole house is clean, kitchen is well equiped and there's a washing machine you could use for free (and place to dry clothes).

I felt very welcome as the whole family were waiting for me in the docks when I arrived. Anita and Daniel were great and super helpful during my stay, helping me to book tours etc. The apartment is very spacious and clean, with a good kitchen. The location is quiet, although there is a short walk to the town.

Location was perfect on a quiet street,well lite, a 5 min walk to all the restaurants and shops. The host were super friendly and helpful with everything. They picked us up from the dock and when we left took us to the airport at no extra charge. Any questions we had they were able to answer and recommend places to eat and tours to go on, as well as where to visit on our own. We had a super fun and relaxing holiday, definitely would recommend Hostel Romy

Very nice, super friendly and helpful host. He was communicative and shared the interesting history of the islands with us. Breakfast is good and plentiful. Hostel is located within 10-15 minutes walking distance from the airport and 5 minutes walking distance from the main street with all the bars and restaurants. And 100 meters from the hostel there was a small spot (near military base) where you could see all: sea lions, iguanas, pelicans and blue footed boobies, so you don't even have to go far to see them all.

Alfredo and his family were lovely and the hostel was immaculately clean. Lovely garden with fruit (which I could eat), water supplied, snorkel rental and recommendations for the tours/ferries. A nice relaxing place to stay.
