This first floor apartment is in a perfect location close to all amenities, with the beach, restaurants, bars, boulangères, Carrefour City, the market square and cycle hire all within walking distance. The proximity to the ferry to England is a bonus if you are travelling that way. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped with modern facilities. We found the bed to be comfortable and we slept very well. Whilst the apartment is close to all facilities, it is in a quiet residential area with little passing traffic noise. It was good to have a private parking area behind a locked gate. This apartment met all of our requirements for a wonderful week's stay. The host was lovely with excellent pre-visit. communication between us. They were there to greet us on arrival and made us feel very welcome, including leaving us a small gift. The host spoke some English which was fortunately better than my French so we managed to communicate quite easily. I am happy to recommend this apartment, particularly to those who want a nice quiet break, whilst having access to all that this area of Normandy has to offer. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location for visiting local sights The house was perfect for our stay with great facilities Local pub around the corner with a great place for takeaway pizza. Commerce pub very reasonably priced drinks - Chablis 18 euros per bottle Lovely terrace for relaxing with a BBQ to use Lidl isn't far for restocking supplies Great communication from hosts too

The proprietor went out of his way to oblige us by coming away from his work at short notice when we arrived a day early. A fabulous new shower has just been fitted. Everything was well appointed. I just wish we hadn't got the date wrong. He did everything he could to ensure that we were comfortable.

It was a beautiful apartment very modern, clean and exceptionally well stocked. Everything one could need in a neat little space. The landlady was exceptionally helpful. I am not sure if she spoke English (as we spoke in French) which may be a barrier to some but there is always Google translate!
