The scenery was breathtaking, beautiful countryside walks. Super comfortable bed with crisp white linen and a luxurious bath to soak in, not forgetting a really good shower too . Great breakfast, cereals, croissants and granary bread with farm fresh butter, preserves and milk and quality coffee. Jenny is a lovely host, and very informative about the area and has created a really homely atmosphere within this beautiful cottage along with her two very friendly dogs. Really relaxing 😌

Clean, relaxed, family friendly environment. The staff was just lovely: we felt well taken care of as any of our need was fulfilled with a smile. The restaurant is superb and their food is supplied from local farms. Not only that, but the service was unbelievably fast and our dinner was prepared with extra care. The location itself is stunning, and the well tended garden also has huge trees. It is also close to a few small supermarkets. Thanks Angie and the rest of the people at the hotel!

Comfortable spot above a lovely gastropub. The staff were especially helpful in receiving a parcel for me in advance of my arrival. Quiet and safe if you’re traveling with a dog, with plenty of walking options. The pub itself is also dog-friendly, and the house dog. Winston (?) is a dote. Quite happy with this place. That said… The verbiage in the contract I signed on checking in was rather aggro and off-putting. N.b. there is a one-time fee if you have a pet, but it’s reasonable. I don’t remember seeing a reference that on the listing, though. You are above a pub, so expect some noise from downstairs during opening hours, but again everybody was decent and sound, and it was grand. I’d go back!

A really unusual, quirky place to stay in Marlborough and we loved it! A great deal of thought has been put into every detail. After 4 days of hiking the Ridgeway traditional and traditional English breakfasts, it was actually very refreshing to have fresh fruit bowls and morning oats etc. All in all, an awesome place to spend a couple of nights in Marlborough.
