Beautiful ! thats the word I wanna use, its near Anchuruli actually and I was pleasantly surprised. It had a stunning mountain view, a cozy camp fire surrounded by cardamom plants, a big private 2-story property, and was conveniently close to Anchuruli, Idukki reservoir etc. I highly recommend this place for a relaxed and enjoyable stay near Kattappana.

Really good value for money, especially for the area. The location was literally perfect for us, around a 5-10 minute walk into the centre but exceptionally quiet around the homestay. Lots of pretty birds as there is a tree farm/forst across the road. Spacious room. Nice family run restaurant next door. The host was really really very kind and made us feel very welcome. She also gave us some great advice :)

Sunila and her husband are THE most lovely people! They organised a fantastic early morning Periyar bird tour, a trip to Abaraham's Spice Garden and an evening watching the martial arts show for us. Sunila even provided us with a lovely egg curry on the night we arrived. I wish them all the best with their Homestay, they really deserve it!

The place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere of the place is warm and tranquil. The owners are fantastic. Everywhere was clean. If the owners ask if you want a home cooked meal take that offer the food is fantastic. I could go on and on . The best place we have stayed on our trip yo India. When I come to India again I will most definitely stay again and take the offer of cooking lessons. Please if you go to Thekkady stay here you will not be disappointed.
