We stayed 4 nights here and I’ll say this is the best stay we had in Italy! Veronica gave us a warm welcome and she even prepared food for us (because we arrived late and she worried that we don’t have food for dinner ). The apartment is well equipped and facilities are very new. We found everything we needed during our stay. Room is spotlessly clean and she even did house cleaning every day. Bed is comfortable and we had good sleep every night. I have to say breakfast is really good. Veronica even arranged different food by our preference. She is really helpful and she knows everything about this area. She gave us many suggestions for where to go, accessing, parking ... We visited many places on her suggestion upon our plan and those places are wonderful, less tourist than famous places, if you prefer a quiet place and less tourist like us you should ask for her suggestion. We enjoyed a quiet beach nearby (only local people ) and it was beautiful . Everything was perfect and we hope to stay again! Highly recommended!

The apartment was really spacious, comfortable and clean. Nice terrace with breathtaking views. Lovely tangerine and orange trees right in the yard. The beach is ~ 6 minutes drive down the mountain, were also shops and cafes are located. The parking is available for each apartment, however be ready for steep and narrow driveway that might be a little bit challenging for bigger cars. We stayed only 1 night, but would have loved to stay here longer. 100% worth every euro spent!

It's a wonderful experience to spend a few days in a genuine Italian villa built in 1890, full of history and memories of a multi-generational family. The very friendly owner makes you feel like you're visiting close family. The building is in a great location, just minutes from both beaches, the old town, restaurants, and shops. In the very heart of Sestri Levante, BB Portobello is such a beautiful and traditional place to stay. Our room had a wonderful sea-view and the breakfast was exceptional! The accommodation is surrounded by high quality restaurants, bars and shops. We were impressed by the hosts, who have time for their guests and offer their local knowledge for travelling both locally and beyond the region. We would love to return to see more of this area, which is so well-served by the reliable and cheap rail network. If we are lucky enough to come back, BB Portobello would be our first choice!

Lilia and her daughter are very nice! Lilia made delicious gnocchi with home made pesto and cake for us. The home made jam, bread and Focaccia were very good as well! The garden with the beautiful view is amazing. We loved to have breakfast in the garden and to play table football. The hosts manage everything in a very sustainable way and they care about the environment! The apartments are very cozy and clean! There are nice small villages in the mountains, and it’s not so far from the ocean. We will definitely come back!
