The property was just as described by Booking. It was conveniently located and had an amazing view of the Basilica. We were so lucky to be able to enjoy the tips left by the owner; the breakfast place, the restaurants, and we had a great time visiting Palladio's masterpiece with a wonderful night at Teatro Olimpico. We were there on the day of the city fair which happens on the piazza in front of the Basilica and that also made the trip a complete positive experience.

Very clean, cosy place. We were with a dog and there is plenty of space around to walk the dog. The owner was very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. Free breakfast items and secured parking. It’s was a very good experience.

Superb host who was always on hand and made our stay a real treat. Excelent Breakfast. Room was spacious and comfortable. The kitchenette was a real benefit, allowing us to prepare light meals and store goods in the fridge. Honesty bar. Secure parking. Whist it is in the suburbs, it's an easy 15-minute drive into central vicenza , also ideally placed to explore surrounding areas. Excelent air conditioning. My wife booked a massage which was undertaken in our room , she was very impressed! Best value for money we have experienced on this trip

Calm and beautiful surroundings. Stunning old Villa. Our kids enjoyed the pool. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a typically Italian breakfast with lots sweet choices. We would have preferred less sugary things and more salty foods and a wholegrain bread.

Fantastic original Palladian villa in the heart of Vicenza. Owned by descendants of the original owners, now the managing owner is a heritage architect who continues to restore and improve the villa. We were very fortunate to be able to meet her and she gave us many insights into the history, design and now restorations. We had the apartment on the second floor that overlooks both the street and the inner courtyard; highly recommend that apartment.

The flat is large, well equipped and centrally located in a small side street. You are within the historic city centre. Within 40 minutes you can also walk to the incomparable Villa La Rotonda and Villa Valmarana ai Nani, with its marvellous park and hill views. The bathroom is large, bright and modern. The bed was very comfortable with a good mattress and pillows. The check-in was done by phone and without any problems. I felt safe in the city and flat as a woman travelling alone.

We stayed one night on our way to Croatie and we had a lovely short stay at San Michele. It's a very nice and quite place to stay, the room was large and comfortable and the breakfast was realy delicious. It also a perfect spot to stay for a few nights to visit the beautiful city of Vicenza and the lovely Villa la Rotonda which is just around the corner.

This is a beautiful, quiet, restful place with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious and the outdoor terrace a delight in the morning. The Villa is surrounded by green space and many flowers. The pool area was a special treat. The surrounding hills were lush green and added to the feeling of a retreat.
