Absolutely wonderful place with a great Onsen infrastructure. Breakfast was fantastic. I feel really sorry we didn’t have dinner there, especially as we were having a hard time finding a place to eat that wasn’t already fully booked. But I have to add that we traveled during high season, so that certainly didn’t play in our favor.

All the meals were outstanding! Beautifully presented and delicious. Almost too beautiful to eat! The houses are one-of-a-kind and the setting is idyllic. It was a wonderful experience living in a property that’s about 150 years old. We had the whole property to ourselves, and the facilities provided such as the kitchen and provision of coffee was great. The owner was kind to give us a tour of the property as well. The owner was so kind by picking us from the sakashita station!

The owner was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Room was cozy and clean too. Location was good - along the Magome juku street. Would definitely stay again
