If you are planning your trip here, I highly highly recommend you to book it!!! For several reasons, you’ll have to drive past a very narrow bridge which is definitely a really cool experience. The host Kenji is a very nice guy; he’s been very helpful and thoughtful and communicating in English is not a problem at all! Most important of all, the property is super clean and you are allow to use the kitchen too! ( My suggestion: Ask Kenji to help you order sashimi in advance. It’s extremely yummy and of a reasonable price.) You can feel that the host really does love this house and he’s doing his best to make sure you enjoy it as well!! Thank you Kenji!

My daughter and I stayed at Daisuke's place in Shimanto on our recent Japan holiday. It has been the highlight of our trip. Despite being told by the host to not go on the 439 road we unfortunately didn't notice that's exactly where Google was taking us and had a very scary 30min. The futons were the most comfortable beds so far, and there was plenty of space. Dinner provided and made by the host was delicious and fresh with a surprise seafood platter by his friend. After a day making knives at a local workshop we returned to join Daisuke for dinner at good friends. They were some of the loveliest and liveliest people we have met, amazing food and amazing company all night. Overall, we are definitely going to be returning!

We really enjoyed staying here. The house is extremely modern and beautiful. It was great for our large group. All the facilities were great. It was a very comfortable stay. We also enjoyed the proximity to the town and the beach. The location is great. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We will definitely book again!

The property is based next to the train station. It has a nice atmosphere and the host is just superb. All the necessary facilities are in good shape. The bed is comfy and you are supplied with all the necessary supplies for a good and warm night. The best with this guesthouse is the awesome placing with stunning nature everywhere and you can rent a bike from the guesthouse and he have good recommendations on where to guy. This is literally paradise on earth with stunning view wherever you go. Also the people in the village are just the nicest, few speak English but they are so friendly and try their best if you do the same.
