The owner was helpful, accommodating, went on the 2 day jungle trek, a great experience and slept under the stars in a hammock.

GermanyWe arrived and immediately felt super welcome and like a part of the family. This place lives up to the true meaning of homestay. Family dinner was always amazing. The room was basic but clean and had a lot of charme! The kids were lovely as well, and everyone spoke good English!
I absolutely recommend staying at this place and also doing a trek with Ren!
Scooters are available for rent as well.

SlovakiaThis is a great place to stay if you are looking for bit of rest or trekking in the jungle. The family has its own tour agency so everything can be booked through Homestay. We took gemstone mine, village and lake tour. I really liked our guide, he was very knowledgeable and felt like a friend from the very beginning. Great English and you can tell he is very familiar with the area. The homestay itself is located in a peaceful village 20min walk from Banlung town. It is surrounded by avocado trees set in a beautiful garden. There’s a good cafe just across the road, and great hotpot restaurant nearby. The owner offers free pick up from the bus station. He is very nice and attentive with perfect English, going an extra mile to accommodate the guests. Great stay, I hope to be back very soon!

FranceIt was really nice staying at Happy Homestay ! Stayed there two nights, the owner will help you with anything if needed. You also have the possibility to do a one day hiking and tour which was great ! I recommend 100% this place if you want to stay if Banlung !

SpainWe had the happiest stay at the family guesthouse, I would highly recommend it to anyone. The family took great care of us and made us feel at home, we can say we will miss them! The guesthouse is a fantastic value for money, and the food is among the best we tried in Cambodia, delicious and plenty. The location is beautiful, with great views and at a convenient situation to visit the main attractions. In a cosy restaurant next to the guesthouse their delicious tradicional grandma's noodle soup is served and is worth a try. Thank you for everything, it has been a pleasure to spend some time with the family at your beautiful place :)

The bamboo bungalows are fantastic and have a bath and mosquito nets for the bed. The owner speaks fluently english and he and his family will help you whenever and wherever they can. He is also a perfect guide for tours and jungle trekking and can tell you so much about ethnic minorities, local plants, animals and the khmer culture.
