Amazing experience at Lake Front Yala Safari. The room was extremely comfortable and very clean but the best thing was the family that run this guesthouse, very kind and welcoming. The lady cooked a spectacular dinner, the best I have had since I'm in Sri Lanka, the daughter is a very smart girl who speaks very good English, she explained to me about the Sri Lankan culture and traditions of Kataragama. Last but not least I could book the safari through them at a very affordable price. I recommend this place 100%

The property is situated in heart of the city. Just walkable distance from the bus stand and Murugan temple (Dewalaya). So many restaurants are available in walkable distance. Room is very neat and clean. Easy access for yala safari point. Real value for money. I strongly recommend.

Just an amazing place. I recommended lots of people to go here because I loooved this! The people are just so nice, the food is so good. Vibes are really chilled. Loved the animals, the little fires and my little private hut. Met many nice people here.

Very good location, closhish to the entrance of the park :-) The owners cooked dinner for me. It was so tasty and cheap as well, one of the best sri lankan meals I had so far! They are very welcoming even though they struggle to speak english, they are lovely and will do anything to help you out 🙂

What's there not to like? The room or the tent, while it's basic, it's self sufficient bug free with an ensuite shower and toilet. The grounds around the camp is spacious and a true immersion in mother nature. The food is authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The 4 dogs are therapeutic to stroke. The safari tour was guided by Sudesh who has eagle's vision for spotting wild life from miles away. He'd helped us to spot snake, monitor lizard, all kinds of birds, crocodiles and definitely a leopard resting on a tree 20m away.

absolutely everything!! the staff was incredibly helpful in everything, the food was amazing, location was perfect really close to the park and facilities were stunning from the bedroom to the pool, really recommend :)
