The breakfast options were lovely, the view on the volcano was amazing and I really enjoyed having our private terrace with a hammock and howler monkeys that visited the surrounding nature every day. Oh, and the stars on a not cloudy day, best I have ever seen so far! We have really enjoyed our week on the island, could easily have stayed a bit longer. Café Campestre was nearby, great place for dinner. All in all, it was better than we imagined, thank you!

The house is beautiful in a beautiful setting. The service was really very good, it was cleaned each day and it was easy to contact the owners who came straight out to assist with getting the key out of the key box! We hired a bike to get around which is kind of necessary although there are buses that go around the island. Highly recommend.

One of the most beautiful places I've stayed at. We originally booked for 4 days and ended up staying for 10! If you like rustic and wild this is the place. Most certainly the best place to stay in ometepe. The tree house style rooms are amazing, the location is away from tourist hot spots and you are surrounded by trees, beautiful flowers, birds and monkeys! Delfa and her family are delightful people to be amongst, made us feel right at home and her cooking...... well I'm missing it already! Thankyou finca la magia for such a beautiful time!!!

El bamboo is in a fantastic location on the shore of the lake in the lovely village of balgüe. The treehouse had everything we needed including a fully equipped kitchen and a fan to keep us cool. The garden surrounding the cabin was beautiful too. Che and Indira were great hosts, always around if you had a problem or needed a local recommendation! Make sure you head down to the lake shore for lovely sunsets behind the volcano Also comedor Isabel down the street had great food!

Best choice when you are visiting Ometepe! The Bamboo Cabins are built by the amazing Che, who's a very kind host, that provides you with all the information you need. The rooms have a mosquito net and the open structure and the fan make a nice sleeping temperature. The location is close to the water and close to the beautiful village of Balgüe, which is best to discover the island and have a full authentic experience with a lot of cheap and very tasty Comedores.
