The apartment we stayed in was on the first floor of a villa in Thorndon, located next to the German Embassy. The bedroom was large and nicely furnished, with very comfortable beds. A second room used as lounge (technically well equipped) and a seperate bathroom were also on the first floor and to be used solely by us. The villa is located close to Old St. Pauls and the Government area and a 20 minute walk away from the city center with the wharf, points of interest, museums and shopping-opportunities. Ross is a very nice host and gave us very helpful advice as well as excellent recommendations (e.g. where to go for dinner ;o)) We had an excellent stay and - if travelling to Wellington again - will definitely try to stay at Ross's place again!

Had a great view of the sea from as the house was located on the top of the hill. Room and the bathroom were very clean and had all the necessary facilities. Host prepared a great traditional breakfast for us and gave detailed suggestions on what to do in the Wellington city. She was really nice and friendly.

Very helpful and friendly staff, professional management, and team. Clean, spacious room and great location, close to town. Walking distance to famous local restaurants and bar. Very easy to book online. Excellent communication from hotel staff. Arrived early so dropped off my bag and went to Te Papa museum & food shopping. Free laundry facilities on each floor, and access to the gym next door were amazing perks! (Not to mention the quality - got my clothes cleaner than they've ever been back home!( Room had just enough of everything you could want, and the location was centrally located, with just about everything you could need in walking distance.
