- both hosts were super nice and very helpful - Gilbert speaks English - breakfasts were fantastic - view from the breakfast/ pool area was awesome, view from attached balcony to our bedroom as well - the house is unique and well setup, high on the hill overlooking Anton Valley. -our room was large, comfortable and spotless - we really enjoyed our stay there

This place was awesome. We were tucked away with our private garden with a couple of adirondack chairs to enjoy the fresh air and views of surrounding mountains. The kitchen looked well stocked, but we didn't use it since we were there for only 1 night. Warm water in the bathroom and good water pressure. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer...but we will be back when we have more time. The host was very kind and helpful...she even helped me carry my bags to the room since I have to use a cane to walk.

The private house was amazing! It's pretty much in the middle of the woods, and there's a great chance you get the see exotic birds on the balcony of the house. Patty, the host, was amazing and very welcoming, she had already previously contacted me and gave me instructions about the house and its location, very professional. I will definitely be returning to this place this summer, it's a great place for couples!

Location was excellent, with comfortable beds and all the required amenities in good working order. Perfect for our 3 night stay. It’s a 5 min walk to a good size supermarket, 15 mins to the main ‘downtown’ Avenida with restaurants and the mercado. 3 amazing hikes to the top of the ancient caldera, and the butterfly farm is a must see. We were able to park our car inside their gate, and the home is a 15 min walk to access one of the 3 primary hikes in the area, India Dormida. Jose and his partner, Liz, are wonderful hosts, and made us feel like family. The breakfast is simple and filling, and we could use their fridge and also made a meal or two using the kitchen facilities. Jose and Liz are gracious hosts and Jose is very witty. They made our time there a truly fun and memorable experience. Communication was excellent, in English and Spanish, despite my spouse and I having very limited Spanish language skills. Local knowledge, tips, and recommendations on things to do in the area were great and super appreciated. Finally, Jose joined us on one of our hikes and he made it super fun and interesting with his knowledge of local flora and fauna. Great location near the hiking trails but not close to the bars and restaurants in the town. The pool was very clean and refreshing. Small private fridge. Absolutely loved my stay in Anton and would stay again
