An amazing option for weekend gateaway. Everything about this place makes you feel like you are in a well-equiped countryside. Fireplace keeps your evening cosy and warm. BBQ spot available outside can make you show all your cooking skills. Imagine that we came during rainy period, can´t wait to try pool, outside jacuzzi and other stuff when I´ll come back during hot period.

We had an amazing time at Estrela! The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious – a real highlight of our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view overlooking green fields, which made it feel peaceful and relaxing. There were so many activities to keep kids entertained – from a safe outdoor space to run around, to a swimming pool, zip wire, and even bikes for cycling. Our child had a blast and was never bored! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a family-friendly getaway with warm hospitality and beautiful surroundings.

Peaceful paradise in nature. Fabulously clean apartment with a functional kitchen. My family loved the pool and the common area with the pool table. 5 minutes away was a great local restaurant called Madeira’s.

The location is magical, close to a castle. The village is extremely quiet and picturesque, and good location for exploring the northern part of Serra de Estrela. Hosts were extremely gentle and accessible. Room was spacious and comfortable, heater is also available. There is kitchen and big dining area to relax and enjoy some music.
