- Toutou is a great host, he will make that you feel like at home from the very first moment. Dar Hkaïem is a home away from home. I really felt like at home during my stay. I was supposed to stay for 2 days but I finally stayed almost a week... it's a great place with very positive vibes. - Dar Hkaïem is a wonderful traditional house in Hammam Sousse, just a bit outside of Sousse. Public transportation to Sousse, to the train station or to the louage is extremely easy (and also very cheap) and Hammam Sousse is by far much nicer than Sousse. I always walked back home at night and it's a super safe place. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, and also to stay in Hammam Sousse, the atmosphere is much better than in Sousse, especially in the evening or at night. - There are also plenty of options around Dar Hkaïem for a café, having dinner, etc. But if you prefer, you can have breakfast or even dinner in the house. There is also a kitchen that you can use (I didn't) but it has everything what you could need. - WiFi is excellent, I had to work a few times during my stay and it worked excellent. It's also the perfect place if you need to work remotely or if you just need a good WiFi for any reason. - Thanks for the great experience, I hope to come back soon!

This is the second time we book and it is definitely not the last. This time we booked the amazing deluxe apartment which was perfectly furnished with much taste and eye for details. You will have everything you need for a calm and relaxed stay. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking tools (even a hand blender) Everything was clean mattresses in all 4 rooms are so comfy. The host as usual was very welcoming and kind. Already gifting us with fruits and drinks in the fridge and offering us a beautiful surprise with one of the best pastry in town! The property really exceeded my expectations. The apartment is very spacious and allowed for a comfortable stay. The terrace area was one of the main reasons I had decided to make the booking. And it truly didn’t disappoint, I enjoyed a few chilled days spent out there. Hamdi the host honestly went above and beyond. From giving advice on where best to visit, to arranging my airport transfer for my return home. Hamdi was a great host and was always just a call or text away if I needed anything which was appreciated. Highly recommend this apartment!

The kindness and familiarity we felt at this wonderful family-run home away from home only much fancier... 😍 Madame Badiaa treated us like we her kids. The breakfast spread was rich and traditional. Omar brought us lemonade Madame Badiaa had made when we arrived. Then on our second night Omar brought us a traditional sweet they make here, "The Judge's ear" 🤣. The place is calm even though it is smack in the middle of the old town. Comfortable bed. Big room. Clean as a wistle. Just splendid...
