It’s not the first time I’m using this lodge! It’s really close to the beach, the staff is nice, specially the receptionist Jay. I will definitely go back again as soon as I’m in Kendwa!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kendwa Cool & Calm Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed and well taken care of. The owner was very kind, always available, and ready to help with anything we needed. He’s also a great businessman who clearly cares about the guest experience and continues to invest in the hotel, constantly introducing improvements and new features. Each morning started with a royal breakfast that included delicious, fresh fruit – a real treat! The staff were all very friendly, and the waiter created a cheerful atmosphere with his kindness and great sense of humor. His warm attitude made a big difference. The room was always well cleaned, with hot water, a working air conditioner, and a fan, which made our stay very comfortable. Special compliments to the chef – the dinners were outstanding! We tried several restaurants in the area, but the food at the hotel was definitely among the best we had. Every meal was full of flavor and clearly made with care. We truly felt at home during our stay and would absolutely recommend Kendwa Cool & Calm Hotel to anyone visiting the area. It's the perfect mix of comfort, great hospitality, and amazing food. We’d love to come back!

Amazing stay at Pumzika. Only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Rooms were clean, had AC and a safe. Mustafa, the host couldn’t be more helpful. He was always on hand to give the best recommendations and to organise whatever tours you wish. If you want to help support the local community in Kendwa , I would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing location right on the beach and lovely staff ready to assist with any activity Kendwa and Stone Town offer. Our room was clean, with AC and comfortable bed. Having everyday tasty breakfast with fresh fruits on the porch looking at the sea was just wonderful. I highly recommend !

The hotel is top notch as always! This is not the first time I have stayed there, and it has gotten better. Wi-Fi is perfect, no problems. The room is luxurious with access and a view of the beach. The restaurant and breakfast are excellent. The staff is very professional and polite. The room is perfectly clean, comfortable shower, hot water, accessories - shampoo, soap, gel, body lotion. Air conditioning, refrigerator, wardrobe, safe, table, chairs and on the balcony as well. Own beach area. Insanely beautiful beach. Kendwa love💖

We have never felt so comfortable in a hotel before. The team is incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding! Compliments to Ibrahim and his team. Although we had only booked breakfast, we ended up having lunch and dinner there several times because it was so delicious! The rooms are very spacious and always clean. The hotel itself is rather quiet, which makes for a restful sleep. At the reception, Nice and Raffa are always available and ready to help. We would love to come back again. We already miss everyone!

    The villas were modern, well designed & sizeable with goid hot water facilities. This is more at the budget end of Kendwa prices but was what we needed. The chef is absolutely fantastic and the food prices are very fair which meant we ate on premise most nights and sometimes for dinner. Rooms were comfortable. Staff very happy & helpful.

    Beautiful villa. Very nice staff, well maintained place. There was no tv on the living room on the first day but we talked about it and on the next day there it was. Good shower and good bed. Not on the beach but pretty close

    This is a family run business at the south of Kendwa beach. Becca and his sisters have set up a wonderful facility. They are very close of the village so I enjoyed both the local and "tourist" perspectives.
