The common area has an incredible view. I spent 90% of my time in this area. The family dinner was absolutely delicious and the host was wonderful and kind. The most kind and polite host ever. I've stayed here twice in three years and the magic is still here. A bit of advice: buy the local happy water and enjoy here.

Wonderful view (the best in Pac Ngoi) of the lake and of rice fields. The harvest was going on when we were here in mid-June. The family is delightful - helpful, friendly, cute kids.

Very sweet owners who always have a smile on their lips. They seem to really like having guests. Their son Hao helped us organize kayaks (400k for 1 day/2 people). Food was very filling and delicious (50k for breakfast, 100k for vegetarian dinner per person). Loved the hammock on the terrace. Lake is a 10 min walk away. They even picked us up from the bus stop by boat. Beds have mosquito nets. All in all loved staying there. :)

The family were exceptionally kind to me. I had two lovely days, both organised and guided by my host. The first was a wonderful trip by boat on the lake and the second a day hiking to a cave and a waterfall. The area is beautiful. The food was abundant and excellent - a real treat at the end of the day. Staying here and exploring with your host is a great way of making a connection with the local people - invitations to share tea and rice wine were frequent!

This homestay is run by a fantastic family who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. To make it even better, it is in a fantastic location. When we arrived, the bridge was out, and they came to meet us and helped us with our luggage, which was greatly appreciated. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The balcony had excellent views of the rice fields, mountains, jungle, and lake.. There is a communal area upstairs, and the view from there is even better. In the evenings the family cook fresh food which we ate on a table with other guests. The food was delicious, and it was a great way to meet other travellers and hear about their adventures and experiences in Vietnam and beyond. The homestay also offers breakfast. The homestay owns their own boat and kayak. We went on the 5-hour boat tour, which was lovely, and enjoyed kayaking out to the island. It is also possible to go fishing with the owner if there isn't a boat tour on the same day. We enjoyed a 10 mile hike through the jungle, which we booked through the homestay, one of the best walks we have done in Vietnam, but you must have some experience of trekking. We enjoyed waking straight out from the homestay along the road, which went around the lake. Two miles from the homestay, you'll find another village, and I enjoyed some pho here on two occasions. Thank you for a fantastic stay!!

Nice place. Super friendly and welcoming owners. Meals were extremely generous, great value, and they were happy to accommodate my vegan diet. The location was ideal at the end of town and probably one of the best views of the rice fields in the area.

Vingh was an amazing host, he looked after us throughout our stay, from picking us up from the minibus to sorting out our fab boat trip and insuring we got on a return minibus. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend this homestay
