Location was key for us as we had a team competing in W2W, the cottage was perfect! The outlook over the fields with the impala and springbok was magic. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub but it was beautiful!

Wonderful house, well equipped . The pizza oven and the hot tub are great features making blue crane an exceptional destination. Dining on the stoep with a wonderful view made it a perfect stay for a group of friends.

We had a very warm welcome. Thugh there was load sharing so no power, they had alerted us beforehand and prepared an excellent welcome dinner, heated on the gas stove, with a very fine red from their vineyard. The chalet was well equipped with a patio looking out over the gardens and the vineyards todistant hills. We spent a happy morning birdwatching around the gardens and small river before heading on.

The staff were really great! We arrived after hours. Meche did a great job, communicating with my via WhatsApp so we could easily find out cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable and characterful, with nice touches like wines from the estate available from a honesty bar. The breakfast is amazing! Arguably one of the best included breakfasts you’ll find anywhere. Again, great service and a quality meal I’d plan as a weekend brunch spot if it was close to home. Overall, great place - highly recommend it!!
