Very spacious and tastefully decorated with a large entertainment area and balcony with a view to the spectacular mountains. The reception by our host, Ashley, was warm-hearted and welcoming. She went out of her way to suggest outings and make bookings for dinner/lunch making us feel instantly at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and should we come back would stay there again.

I would like to emphasize that in every way it was an extremely nice experience for us to stay in this accommodation. The bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished. The pool is very nice and access is possible directly from the room. The view from the pool and terrace directly on the lake. The breakfast was absolutely superb. Excellent communication with the owner who collected very useful information for us regarding our trip to Cederberg.

Great location. Room was extremely comfortable and clean with everything that we needed. The delicious baked bread with butter and jam was a nice surprise. Being able to park our large car behind a secure gate was a bonus in this town. In addition, the host provided information on local sites, with directions, which was appreciated. Highly recommend this property.

The hosts were really nice, helped us with everything and gave us advice for hiking/climbing/food etc. The common kitchen is fully equiped and with a lovely view, there is also a fireplace to use. Location is peaceful and quiet, nice garden. The host even lent us crashpads for bouldering. Would 100% recommend visiting.

so, i was curious about this place because i saw a bunch of meh reviews and then 10/10s. turns out this place used to be very good as long as the owners were running it, then they went on holidays, and came back to find the bad reviews. for the past months, they seem to have been moving heaven and earth yo fix that. my stay at rosenhof was really wonderful. and it is indeed an old manor building. the owners live on over if the auxiliary houses, and you get a room or a flat in the main building. to be frank, it was a fantastic stay, even though I only had a day. i really enjoyed it there. friendly hosts with many many recommendations of what to do. I'll stay there again when I'm back in the area. the inner yard of the place is essentially a lounge and relaxation area... of you work remotely from there for a few days, i guess that is also really comfy.

The place is absolutely incredible. So peaceful and private! We had everything we needed and just were sad we couldn’t stay longer. Perfect place for climbers and hikers.
