Great location. Room was extremely comfortable and clean with everything that we needed. The delicious baked bread with butter and jam was a nice surprise. Being able to park our large car behind a secure gate was a bonus in this town. In addition, the host provided information on local sites, with directions, which was appreciated. Highly recommend this property.

The space felt like home the moment I arrived. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. The area is incredible, the nature around and the different trails...I was so happy I could stay with my dog and go on, beautiful early sunrise walks, or take the Canoe out on the dam. The hosts, Lefras and Marijke, were so kind, welcoming, and helpful with any questions I had. I enjoyed it every day there. I will definitely be back again. Thank you for an incredible time.

​My mother and I had a nightmare scenario when our car broke down with serious gearbox issues in Clanwilliam. What could have been a disaster turned into an incredibly positive experience, all thanks to the owners of Rosenhof Guesthouse Karen and Coetzee. . ​They didn't hesitate for a moment. They immediately took us in, ensured we had comfortable accommodation and lovely food, and offered help that went far beyond the duties of a guesthouse owner. Unbelievably, they even allowed us to use their personal car to transport our gearbox all the way to Wellington for specialized repair. ​Their hospitality, warmth, and generosity were truly extraordinary.
