Excellent information leading up to the stay. Wonderful welcome gifts like freshly baked bread, farm churned butter and delicious fresh farm milk. Just fulfilled the experience for our family. Ouhout Cottage was spacious, rustic yet tastefully decorated and clean. Staff were polite and assisted in any manner or form. The Farm Stall was a delight and were privileged to watch them milk the cows up front. Well worth it, book early to avoid disappointment. Professionally run establishment which only lends to a better experience.

Absolutely loved this magical place. Nice and quiet getaway, falling asleep with only the sound of the river. So much attention for details by the sweetest couple who run the place. Amazing view. Nice walk at the property along. the town close by felt very safe. We used this spot to travel to Drakensberg park, so after a day of hiking this was the perfect place to relax. One of our favorite spots in South Africa!

    What a wonderful weekend getaway spot this is! Great location in a quiet, picturesque estate, lovely staff. Luxurious room - interior decor is luxe yet cosy!! Close proximity to coffee shop and village amenities was an added bonus. Underfloor heating was a great perk - I can't say enough - beautifully furnished loft, great views!

    I loved every single detail of the apartment, great color combinations, aesthetics and facilities were really a 10/10. Our host, Sam, was great. She contacted me in advance sending me instruction for check-in which was smooth. She also packed some nice treats in the apartment and firewood. The location is top-tier, village is conveniently location near a local Spar and plenty of restaurants within a 6 mins drive. Truly an unforgettable experience of Notties.
