We had an amazing time at Top Stay - staff were super friendly- the owner Richard helped us with absolutely everything he could- as we were off road driving across Botswana. The room was super neat and clean, great sized balcony. Kitchen all equipped for cooking- that helped us a lot! Thank you all for the great experience!!!

Absolutely loved this property and the staff. We were treated like long-lost friends the minute we arrived and were always greeted with a beautiful smile and our names when we came to the restaurant. The food was amazing and we didn't feel the need to venture off the property to eat. Such a wonderful introduction to Botswana and we definitely will be back.

Offering a shared barbecue area and a small swimming pool, Elephant Trail Guesthouse is located in Kasane. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and shared kitchen. This is a budget backpacker-type hostel, with a fantastic layout, loads of character, and very well-maintained. I stayed in the stand-alone chalet tent, really airy, bright, and private, facing the pool, although it does get hot in the summer. The place has a kitchen all guests can use, nice swimming pool, great electrical, lighting, wifi, and is super clean. Staff is very warm and welcoming as well. Place is in Kazungulu, not Kasane, so further away from the Chobe park entrance, but then closer to the border with Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is also too far too walk from any town centre, so you need to take a cab to commute.
