The architecture combines inside and outside with an outdoor kitchen and various seating areas. Enjoy the hummingbirds, tukans and the beautiful jungle around you. You have a private riverside seating area as well with the option to swim. Two cute dogs will welcome you in the morning and when you return from a tour or dinner. Ant it comes with lots of extras: strong wifi, washing machine and dryer, super comfy towels, a hammock, many kitchen devices. The owner is friendly and quick in responding, there is the option to book tours, and Albert, the caretaker of the house, is very friendly and helpful. If you are in this region and the cabine is available, book it!

Excellent place to stay in San Ignacio. They helped us to organise an ATM caves tour, and the company we went with were exceptional. The facilities at the guesthouse are great, and the pool is lovely. The manager is very helpful, and was always available when we needed her. Thanks so much.

Alma Del Rio Eco-Comfort on the water si trova a San Ignacio, nella regione Cayo, a 6,1 km da Cahal Pech. Everything was beautiful! We especially loved the living room area with the view on the tropical garden, great spot for bird watching. Hadas was lovely and helped us have an amazing stay, with great day trips and excursions. We loved the Tikal day trip as well as our bird watching experiences with Andy, great guide that we recommend. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable 😊

Villa Massis Luxury Villas offre la vista sulla montagna a San Ignacio e dispone di ristorante, servizio in camera, bar, giardino, piscina scoperta aperta tutto l'anno e terrazza. Beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings. Staff are excellent. The place is very clean. We saw lots of birds, howler monkeys and a night monkey. San Ignacio is 10 minutes taxi ride and worth going for a wonder and some nice food. We found two fantastic restaurants The Burnz and Crave House of Flavour. Also took a trip to Xunantunich Mayan site which is excellent and worth a visit. You don’t need to go on a trip just book a taxi in town, much more affordable. Larry the host provided very good service. We lost some glasses on the transfer he arranged from Mexico and Larry contacted the taxi company and had the glasses posted to our hotel in Mexico which is an excellent service.

The owners were so warm and friendly, they made us feel right at home. They had great recommendations for food, transport, laundry and anything required. The cabin was absolutely spotless and honestly one of the cleanest places we have stayed in. I love that they even sanitized high-touch areas like the remote controls and door knobs etc. On one of the days, the wind blew in some leaves and dirt onto our patio, and they promptly cleaned it up. Do yourself a favour and also add on the breakfast on your patio, it was delicious! The property was located out of town, but you wouldn’t really want to stay in town anyway. It was easy to get a cab into town and back, or we walked back sometimes.

Kane Villas - Mountain Pine Ridge si trova a San Ignacio, nella regione Cayo, a 20 km da Barton Creek Cave. It was so nice to have our own little villa in the rainforest. The area felt so secluded but also very clean and safe. We also had trails to a waterfall and cave towards the back of the property which was great for exploring when we didn’t feel like driving. The room was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were really impressed by how well the screens kept the bugs out and we loved laying in the hammock in the screened in porch. It was a bit cold to swim in the pool but we liked heading there in the evenings to relax and enjoy the evening. It was also wonderful to use the grill by the pool and super easy.

Family Suite @ Mahogany Hall offre un alloggio climatizzato con terrazza a San Ignacio. Questo alloggio con vista sul fiume propone un balcone. Exceptional staff. They bent over backwards to accommodate anything we needed. Breakfast and dinner were generous and delicious. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. A/C worked great.
