How do i begin, on top of this being an absolutely beautiful, well-cared for and well catered for B&B in an underestimatedly wonderful location, the hosts Reiko and Sascha are actually just amazing, good- hearted, genuine people that i feel lucky to have had the pleasure of meeting. Reiko especially [not to take anything away from Sascha - thanks for sharing your wine! 😋] made the whole environment seem like home. I felt cared for and cared about, which are 2 different things and quite meaningful to a solo traveller. I woke up with a headache on the first morning [from sleeping on buses and planes the prior few nights] and mentioned this at breakfast. Not only did Reiko source some Tylenol for me in the interim, but she also came back from town later on with 2 new packets of tylenol, brought me warm chicken soup, juice, noodles and when i went to the kitchen later found extra canned soups with my name on them. When i went on a late night aurora watching tour Reiko dug out extra gloves, snowboots and a jacket for me, seeing that i was completely unprepared for -32 degrees [and she was 100% right!] Everything here was perfect, super comfy bed, very well-appointed private ensuite bathroom, breakfast ready and waiting for me every morning, and delicious home made snacks always available. I added an extra 2 days to my stay last minute, and after everything i had wanted to pay more than the standard charge and they both refused to let me. i honestly can’t put in words what an amazing place this is to stay, for the amenities, the location, the service and importantly, the people

Oma's and Opa's Northern Lights Viewing Cabin se může pochlubit výhledem na hory a nabízí ubytování s balkonem a varnou konvicí. S.S. Klondike National Historic Site se nachází přibližně 32 km odtud. Very kind host. He carefully explained how to use the cabin and recommended places. I think it's the best place to see the aurora borealis because the surrounding brightness is low and there's nothing blocking the view to the northeast.

I couldn't rave more about this property or the attentive hosts Amber and Erik. We only had 4 nights here (family of 5) but all wanted to stay for much longer. The Waterfront Suite were we stayed was warm and so comfortable. The added bonus of the essential food available meant we had food and drink on that first night, after a long trip up and feeling to exhausted to go out. The hosts were so responsive and set us up with the camp fire at short notice and provided us with whatever we needed. And yes, we saw the aurora on our last night. Honestly a beautiful magical place. I highly recommend hiring a car, everything is a short 5/10 minute drive away (we are from Australia and navigated right sided driving just fine as it's still small town vibe).

It was very spacious and fit our group of 5 people really well. The kitchen was set up really nicely. There were 3 washrooms which was perfect for our group. We got to Whitehorse early so I called the host to check if we could get an early check in. They were very accommodating of our request and nice to chat with. The apartment was definitely worth the value we paid for it. Would highly recommend this apartment if in Whitehorse.
