I rented the entire villa for my wife and 3 children to spend New Year's Eve in a place far from the city of concrete, in a quiet location but without sacrificing the comforts we are used to. This place is magical; its views, its facilities, and the experience itself allow you to enjoy nature with all the comforts of the city. Access must be done in a 4x4, which you can arrange to hire in Minca. You can bring everything you need for food and drinks, and that's it. One thing that is essential, considering we're in the jungle, is a good insect repellent and insecticide in case you need it. The bird-watching tour and the excursions to the different waterfalls in the area are a must. I recommend the Hidden Waterfall due to its proximity and solitude.

A true little paradise perched in the hills of Minca, surrounded by nature, with beautiful trees and wildlife. From our balcony, we were even lucky enough to be visited in the morning by Silvestre, the toucan! Luis took great pleasure in sharing the fascinating story of the finca and introducing us to the different species of trees. The cabin was very comfortable, with breathtaking views. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Getting to Sintropia is a bit of a journey (everything is very well explained beforehand), but once you’re up there you won’t want to come back down – and that’s the beauty of it! Muchas gracias Luis and Marilyn, we truly hope to return one day.

We came here after finishing the Lost City Trek and this was perfect to recharge. When we went to Tayrona Park after, the owner helped us getting a ride with motor taxis and when it turned out I forgot something, he send a motor to bring it to us at the entrance to the park.

We had a lovely couple of days stay here. We stayed the night before and again the night after we had been to Tayrona. The staff were very friendly and helpful - any questions we had were answered quickly. Breakfast provided was good and they were flexible with timings to suit us. Each ecocabaña has a private terrace/area to sit in which was really great to be able to relax in a hammock. We were able to leave our big bags overnight when we stayed in Tayrona which was really helpful and kind of the owners.
