Sao Nicolau is a fantastic place to visit, the locals are extremely friendly.

You need to remember that there is no ikea, and that maybe in the past the other guests took the utensils with the or broke them and they cannot keep putting stuff that we bake or take with us. On weekends the kiosk in front can become lively with neighbors coming, drinking beer and grill, but it will end way before midnight and if you see bothered with the noise, you just need to ask and they will pay attention. Tourists always complain: or there is not enough music or there is too much...I am amazed with the criticism I read and the lack of kindness and empathy with a country where people are so nice
