It just takes some minutes to get there from Aswan by the ferry. It was also very clean. I highly recommend it!!

We really enjoyed our stay at FADL KATO, with a beautiful location over looking the Nile, and a very accommodating host who helped us a lot by recommending restaurants and places to go to on the island and booked for us transportation to Abu Simbel and other trips. Would really recommend the place.

The hotel owner (Tamer) and his nephew (Mo) made us feel at home, helping us organising trips at very fair prices and preparing delicious breakfast and dinner every day. The hotel is located in a Nubian village, on the West Bank of the Nile. You can get there very easily for 10 EGP per person with the public ferry. The atmosphere in the hotel and the village is very relaxed, which we absolutely loved after coming from very busy cities like Cairo and Alexandria. One of our highlights was the morning run + swim in the Nile that we did with Mo, who showed us the best spots in the village and in Aswan. We will definitely come back to visit these guys who became our family for some days

The location was really nice. Abu was very friendly and help us to book tours and transfers at very good prices. The room was very clean and spacious. Also the food was the best we had in Aswan. Also the two boys named Mohnamed and Abdul were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We recommend Abu guest house to everyone visiting Aswan.

Everything Shaaban is an incredible host, he took take of everything transportation from and to airport ( for free), getting tickets, recommended activities, he even get my a tooth brush. And didn't ask for any extra fee. The place also is great anything you need air-conditioned, fridge, stove, wifi, etc. Totally recommend it for your trip. And also when I had to leave early for temple he made a take away breakfast box.

Ubytvání se nachází kousek od památky Abú Simbel i od centra. Pokoj byl velmi čistý, koupelna na egyptské poměry velmi pěkná, čistá, funkční. Balená voda v ledničce na chodbě dostupná zdarma v jakémkoliv množství. Pan majitel byl velmi vstřícný a komunikativní. Ubytování je umístěné hned u vody, kde kotvila loď. Nebyl problém s panem majitelem domluvit ranní projížďku k Abú Simbel - to byl opravdu krásný zážitek. Dobrá snídaně podle egyptského zvyku, kterou máme rádi.

Gamal Robob Nubian Guest House se nachází v destinaci Asuán, nedaleko od zajímavých míst, jako je Núbijské muzeum a Kitchener's Island. Skvělá klidná lokalita, snadno dasažitelná trajektem přes Nil, krásné oklolí s ostrovy a çidté útulné pokoje a nádherná terasa s výhledem .

This was the best place we stayed in during our trip to Egypt! The guesthouse has a beautiful view of the Nile, with an amazing rooftop terrace. The atmosphere made us feel completely at home. Uncle Mahmoud, the owner, is such a classy and kind person—he welcomed us with fresh guava juice and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He arranged a reasonably priced taxi for a full day to visit the monuments and even offers boat tours on the Nile at fair prices. The kitchen is available if you want to cook, and it’s easy to cross to the city center for just 10 Egyptian pounds. On the day of our departure, Uncle Mahmoud woke up early to help with our luggage and sent someone with us to ensure everything went smoothly. These are genuine, honest, and wonderful people. We can’t recommend this place enough!

The staff were all lovely, the place was clean and the restaurant/lounge area was excellent. We had delicious food and shisha in the evenings with an incredible view. The breakfast which was included in the price was one of the best we had in Egypt.
