This is my second time staying here and I’ll be back, it’s the absolute best place in the area, especially if traveling with a dog. The road is actually quite easy and there are signs for the hotel: be sure to ignore the straight uphill option and instead take the slightly longer route that goes towards the beach but then winds back up the hill. Pensión Kursaal is newly refurbished and features rooms with modern furniture and parquet floors. They come with flat-screen satellite TV, private bathroom with hairdryer and a work desk. Room was very spacious and quiet, given that ours was located at the inner side. Very quiet refrigerator. Good bathroom, large box. Tea-boiler, tea and muffins. Lovely old elevator with hands-on operation :)

Casa Rural Ekoigoa is set in the heart of the Basque countryside, by the Urola River. There is free WiFi and free parking and Zumaia Beach is just 7 km away.

Casa Ekoigoa is a short walk from the centre of the village of Aizarnazábal. The house is surrounded by fields and also has a garden with fruit trees and a vegetable garden. Family run establishment, kind and very amicable towards my elderly parents and young child. We especially enjoyed the animals on the property( cat, donkeys, goats) and the friendliness of the townspeople of the village. Townspeople were absolutely lovely , warm and welcoming . Plenty of hot water!

Nice studio, ground floor in a quit street, with all facilities you might need during your stay. Washing machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, clothes drying rack. Close to the lively city center with tons of taberna’s and restaurants. 5 mins walk to the 2,5 km long beach with boulevard and nice terraces with ocean view. Big supermarket at 200m. Owner provided us with a parking pass for free street parking.

Ideally set right in the heart of Donostia-San Sebastián, APARTAMENTO MENTURA Centro de San Sebastian Parking FREE is a recently renovated apartment, featuring free WiFi and private parking. Boasting a lift, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Outdoor seating is also available at the apartment. The appartment was very clean, beautifully furbished and the host was very helpful. Free parking was very useful. We loved the terrace.

When we arrived, I thought we were too far out of the main areas of San Sebastian. However, with our host Javi's assistance, the bus stop is nearby and a quick ride to the edge of old town. The busses have tap on option making it simple to hop on a bus. That means it's a good location, cafe for morning coffee nearby along with a selection of supermarkets (Javi provided directions) to make use of the apartment's cooking facilities. Our host Javi was always available if we need any assistance. Thumbs up!
