Beautiful accommodations from the view and large window, to the comfortable bed, very nice bathroom, the thoughtful snacks and drinks left in our refrigerator, the simple breakfast before we started our day. So many sweet details covered, very hospitable and friendly host, an amazing shower downstairs for those who need a shower instead of using the huge jet tub in the attached bathroom, even laundry facilities.

This is the best self cathering apartment I have stayed in. Everything we needed was in the apartment. The location is only 10 minutes away from Kirkwall and is therefore an excellent stay to explore the islands. The owners have done a great work to restore the old mill.

Short drive or bus to Kirkwall and Stromness. Interior was great, well decorated and had loads of appliances ( including washing machine and clothes line!) Hostess was so friendly. I didn’t get to say or thank her for the stay, the wee touches that made it our sanctuary for a few days. Wish we had time to stay longer.
