Angel was a fantastic host who gave us all the information we needed to go around Atitlan. He took us on a walking tour to one of the smaller and less visited villages. For us and the kids this was the highlight of our visit. He also arranged the transportation to our next destination. The house is located just outside the bustling town centre, which is only a 10 minute walk, and the roof terrace has great views over the surroundings.

We had a very pleasant stay at Nicolas House! The location was great and really close to the arrival point of the boats in San Pedro. The apartment was spacious and clean and communication was always quick. The hosts were also really kind in helping us to plan our activities at the lake :)

This makes it much calmer and less noisy - The weekend /weekday markets are across the street. You got a bit of an additional authenticity through those (plus you can easily buy delicious fruits) - The owner was extremely helpful with answering all of our questions about the place, the neighborhood and the town - We were also allowed to check out in the afternoon which was a huge help for us (by not having to spend hours in the summer heat while waiting for our shuttle)

He connected us with his cousin who gave us a great rate for the drive from Guatemala City straight to the property. There’s amazing street vendors for food literally every street you walk down, it’s right by the Mirador, a 5 minute walk to all the best parts of the city and 10 minutes walking to the lake. The view from the roof is beautiful. The property itself was really clean and spacious, and the beds were super comfy. I honestly can’t say enough. We loved our stay here.
