We had an amazing stay at Har's place. The location is nothing short of dreamy, with amazing views of the valley hills just in front. Har has constructed all the houses (I recall around 3-4 now) by himself, you can check on his IG for more detail on how he built them! All of them are really comfortable and unique, following the local architecture, blending with nature and each of them providing a different experience. Har is an expert and consultant on organic farming and produces his own veggies that he uses to cook the most fantastic breakfasts you will ever have, super yummy and different everyday, with the plus of overviewing the views directly from your stay. Don't forget also to order dinner from him, much better than eating anywhere else, every meal was amazing. Har always went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable, showed as around his plantation (he plants to reforest the area with a thousand fruit trees!) and the best: he gave us the best tips on the island, pointing spots that are not even in Google Maps and ready to explore. Think on pristine waterfalls, empty beaches, beautiful local villages, hills, etc. Please visit Har and Sumba before it gets ruined by the evils of mass tourism, and please visit with an open mind, it's raw, wild, authentic, and that's why is missing facilities compared with other destinations, but that what make it so unique and special. Thanks so much Har, we cannot wait to visit you again, cannot wait to see your new creations, houses, farm and forest!

Smeštajni objekat Casa Kandara nudi bazen na otvorenom, vrt, terasu i bar na destinaciji Waingapu. Na raspolaganju su restoran koji služi jela indonezijske kuhinje i besplatan privatni parking. The place is really nice! We had a very nice stay, and also extended for another night. The staff is very polite and helpful. The bed is so comfortable that I never wanted to leave😭

Objekat Morinda Villa and Resto se nalazi na destinaciji Waingapu i nudi vrt i restoran. Smeštaj nudi prevoz od/do aerodroma, a dostupna je i usluga iznajmljivanja bicikala. Amazing location, Freddy the owner is such a welcoming and warm person. He gave us so many tips about travelling through sumba and recommended us to join the sunrise trekking on the hills next to the villa. We paid only 250.000 and we got an incredible sunrise! The views were stunning and he loves to share his passion for nature and culture! The villa was in great condition and the breakfast was good. Our highlight was definitely his own weaving art. He has a little shop in the reception area with local pieces. But he mentioned that his profession is being a Weaver and he has higher quality pieces in his house. He invited us to his place and showed us all his work and we were listening to him for 1 hour. The pieces are made with such beautiful patterns ans designs. We bought one, and this is our favourite souvenir of 2 months travelling through Indonesia and Vietnam. If you stay here, make sure to talk to Freddy :)

Amazing stay on one of the most amazing beaches I’ve ever seen. Far away from people, WiFi etc. A great place to disconnect. Highly recommended and would love to stay again

Good place to spend the night, ideal for large group of friends and family, if you book the 2 rooms apartment. Very clean.

Objekat Lambo Homestay na destinaciji Waikabubak u ponudi ima smeštaj sa pogledom na vrt, vrtom, zajedničkim salonom i terasom. The homestay is in a gorgeous Marapu traditional house. Our host, Naila, is delightful and knowledgeable. The food is reasonably priced, healthy and oh so delicious!

Located along the private Purukambera Beach, Cemara Beachfront Suite offers free parking facilities and rooms with ocean views. Wonderful and ultra silent place in front of the beach where you can wash your brain from stress and input overload. The staff is very kind and respectful. Kilometers of free beach where you can relax in peace, only some locals who pass from time to time riding horses and some fishermans at work. Nice sunsets too.

Objekat Sumba Adventure Resort, koji je smešten u gradu Baing, u regiji Sumba, u ponudi ima smeštaj sa besplatnim privatnim parkingom. if you want something outside of the beaten track, far away from people this is the place for you. open bamboo hut at the beach front was very relaxing and calm.
