Our three-night stay at the Vogafjos Farm Resort in Mývatn was truly magical, as we were fortunate to witness the stunning Aurora Borealis just outside our cabin doorsteps, perfectly living up to its reputation as the capital of northern lights. The cozy and comfortable lodging made the experience well worth the price, despite the food being a bit on the pricey side. Overall, the breathtaking views and unique atmosphere made it an unforgettable getaway!

The holiday home is fitted with 1 bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a fridge, a washing machine, and 1 bathroom with a hair dryer and free toiletries. Towels and bed linen are offered in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Such a lovely cosy apartment with windows all round and overlooking Lake Myvatn. It was the perfect place to relax and hope to see the Northern Lights from the big balcony outside. The place was thoughtfully designed as open plan with nice touches such as candles and rugs. The underfloor heating was very efficient and plenty of kitchenware plus oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine etc. We had looked at slightly cheaper options nearby but I think it was worth paying a little extra for this one. Would highly recommend!

Each room has a patio with views of the garden. The apartment was very well equipped and in a great location. We could walk to the lava caves, and it was convenient to get to Dettifoss and Húsavík. Would highly recommend staying here.
