It is brought to your site, and you cool it. Everything needed is provided. Showers and bathrooms are just a short walk away. You can rent a fire pit and but wood there. You can rent an e-bike for $25 pp for the entire day. Still had 70% battery by the end of the day. There is a shuttle, needs to be booked. Does not run late at night. Staff were friendly.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Everything was great, we could enjoy some authentic hospitability. Our traditional style room was very nice and surprisingly comfortable. The staff was well trained, professional, and polite. We have been picked up at the bus station and brought to the hotel on arrival, as well on our way back. We could enjoy the public and private onsen as well which as a very nice experience, especially seeing Mt. Fuji from the private onsen as a small family. The kaiseki diner we had after bathing was superb, and it was an experience on it's own. Even we only spent one night there, we could relax and wind down. We opted to take the cable car nearby to see Mt. Fuji, and rented some bikes to cycle around the other day before we departed from the town.

Best hotel in our trip. Staffs was very friendly and helpful. Food (breakfast and dinner) in Japanese course is the best. Onsen was great.
