Overall the stay was excellent starting with being greeted at the entrance and in the lobby by staff. This property is very clean with everyone leaving their outdoor shoes at lockers at the front and using socks provided by the Onsen. Our room was spacious with a sitting room and bath with a cypress hot tub. In the afternoons there were a number of teas available for tasting and in the evening there was ramen. The Onsen was wonderful with several different pools including cold plunges and saunas. There were 4 private baths that were generally available when we wanted to utilize them. The Japanese breakfast was delicious and provided multiple small bites that allowed guests to try many different flavours and textures of food. The staff were very friendly and helpful explaining some of the different foods.

We are vegetarian so chef prepared special meals for us. The best rooms are in floors 3 and 4 where you have open view of the lake. We don’t recommend taking the deluxe rooms as there are only 2, and you might end up in the second floor with partial view of the lake.

Walkable distance to the closest subway station and slightly further to Odori Park and Sapporo Station. It is very spacious and clean, with 3 rooms with large beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also washer in the unit. Parking space is possible with early request. I had no trouble booking a parking spot for my car. To note that check-in is only possible via the Internet as there in no reception desk. Recommend to pre-register online prior to arrival. You will then receive instruction and codes to access your room. Communication was a breeze and we are even able to store our luggage once we checkout out in the morning and came back later for our luggage in the evening before leaving to the airport.

What can I say.... this is by far the most extreme hotel I've stayed in. The service was impeccable. The moment you arrive in your car they flag you down and check you in right by the hotel. Then they proceed to unload all your luggage and carry them in for you. The hotel was mostly locals and they came to only stay for a night or two at most so they usually only came with 1 suitcase, but we arrived with 8. The staff mobilised like a well organised squad and each staff came to carry each of our bags individually. When you enter the hotel for the first time you're greeted by 6-8 staff in beautiful yukatas bowing and welcoming you. You take your shoes off at the entrance and they store it for you til you want to leave again. I literally couldn't fault anything. The food was amazing, we topped up money for whatever we could. Had teppenyaki on the first night and kaiseki on the second. The rooms are immaculate, very very very spacious and the onsen was very beautiful. You can just wake up everyday and watch the sunrise in your private balcony or onsen.

We had originally packed plenty of ingredients from Korea, fully intending to cook for ourselves. But from the very first meal Yoko served, we were completely captivated by her cooking — so much so that we ended up enjoying almost every breakfast and dinner at her restaurant. Normally, I grow tired of the same hotel breakfast after just a couple of days, but here, even after two weeks of breakfasts and dinners, every meal felt fresh and exciting. The dinners were beautifully presented as multi-course meals, and I savored every bite — not a single morsel left behind. While everything was delicious, the venison hamburg steak remains etched in my memory as the standout dish. Yoko and Akito are the kind of hosts who make you feel instantly at home. They are unfailingly kind, never once turning down a guest’s request, and their warmth shines through in everything they do. One evening, I noticed Akito quietly washing dishes on his own while Yoko chatted cheerfully with her staff — the kind of small, sincere moment that shows their dedication. Yoko speaks with her team as if they are lifelong friends, and that sense of closeness extends naturally to her guests. Although we speak no Japanese, communicating in English with Yoko and Akito was effortless. Our two-story accommodation had three cozy bedrooms, a traditional tatami room, and a spacious living room. Each morning, we would open the curtains to a tranquil view of endless cornfields swaying gently in the breeze — a picture of pure peace. The Shirataki area, where Ezura Farm is located, is wonderfully quiet, with so little traffic that even those unaccustomed to driving on the left side will have no trouble at all.
