We loved everything 💜 ❤️ Quaint, old house, beautifuly furnished. 6 byclyes available to use during your stay. Beautiful countryside, lovely village 15 mins cycle away....we are not into cycling but really enjoyed it, that say a lot !!! Amazing bamboo forest 10 mins cycling towards village, empty re people....beats any bamboo groove in Kyoto, absolutely STUNNING!!!!! We bought food and cooked at the house. Lots of fresh beef !!!! I can't rate this place highly enough............we stayed end of November, so also had wonderful colours of autumn leaves. We were met at the station, taken to the house and explained in perfect English, how to operate heating, door locks etc...... The owner then took us back to the station....and what surprised us was, he waited till we got into the station and waved us goodbye. 👋 Perfection 🥰 💞 🥰 to the end of a most memorable stay we will never forget. Ps, 2 nights is not enough....stay longer if you can

Majutusasutuses Biwako Hanakaido on väljas ja siseruumides paiknevad kuumaveeallikate vannid, 3 söögikohta ning rõduga toad, kust avaneb vaade Biwako järvele. The rooms are beautiful, the view is amazing, the staff are absolutely lovely. The private hot springs are great. This place is very charming - even magical. Experiencing Biwako Hanakaido felt like experiencing proper Japanese traditions/customs. It felt like a privilege. It's a truly rare and amazing experience that isn't easy to come by. I highly recommend spending a night or a few here.

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Our dinner was the most amazing meal of our lives. The hotel is nice and incredibly clean. Everything was perfect!

Hiei Blue Roof - Vacation STAY 13887 asub Otsus, 9,3 km kaugusel Shugakuin Imperial Villast, 10 km kaugusel Heiani pühamust ja Shoren-ini templist. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. Blue Roof Hiei was a wonderful stay in a comfortable well maintained home. The host had excellent communication and provided many useful travel tips including parking in Kyoto. We loved the local sites including Hieizan temple and hiking trails. The house was well equipped with a nice little back yard (our kids loved to play there) and the kotatsu (table with heater underneath) was a great hangout space for watching TV or working. Overall it was a cozy and quiet refuge from the hustle of Kyoto. Our family will definitely be returning here on our next visit to Kansai!

Featuring a hot tub, FarmStay INN Sanzaemontei 三左衛門邸 別館 wide room - One group per day, one building available for exclusive use is set in Takashima. The homely hospitality by the sincere owner & his mother truly touch our heart! the house is big enough for us & complete with all the ameneties needed. Aunty served us rice balls every morning using the rice they grown themselves & it's yummms! my kids love the oldschool game set prepared for us. Fujiwara san is truly a person who serves wholeheartedly with personal touch. He is thoughtful & love our kids by preparing all the goodies & snacks at times. we love the hanabi(fireworks) prepared & had a good time! i've been visiting Japan more than 15times in 10yrs, but this is the place that i miss most with their homely hospitality & it's so healing. i got teary eyed when i visited the small shrine (the shrine in the Pokemon game) behind the owner's house once i checked out because i felt so blessed to meet with this family. A must stay if u wanna TRUE Japanese touch stay. We love the burger shop & local Japanese eatery recommended by Fujiwara san. it's very easy to drive around Lake Biwa, we love the ski resort recommended by Fujuwara san so much! it's fun & pretty with colorful flowers & cooling up there in Summer! U can even have a day trip from here to places in Northern Kyoto prefecture such as Ine, Amanohashidate, Miyama etc. You wil never regret staying here! I'll definitely stay here again if i'm visiting Kyoto in future! i cant say enough of the good thing about this stay, u must stay to believe me... Arigato Fujiwara san.

Aia ja vaikse tänavavaatega Guesthouse Shin asub Omihachimanis, 38 km kaugusel Sanzen-ini templist ja 39 km kaugusel Hiei mäest. The location was quiet, in the middle of a residential area so it was very quiet at all times, there was a convenience store about 10mins walk away. The guesthouse was very spacious with a living room, dining room and sitting room on the main floor. There were 2 bathrooms and 2 showers and all very clean!
