We've been to Japan a few times and this was one of our favourite stays ever. We stayed in the beautifully restored guest house and enjoyed an amazing Japanese breakfast in the main house every morning. The owners are a wonderful and incredibly generous family, who went above and beyond and even drove us to local restaurants and a great onsen. As we didn't have a car, we went on a hugely enjoyable tour of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field with the lovely and very knowledgable Nobu. Huge thanks to Nobu and her family for looking after us and making us feel so welcome.

Staff and services are top notch! I was one of the best stays in Japan so far. The structure is relatively simple, but the service is so good that we felt very welcomed after our skiing trip.

The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful.

L’hébergement Open-air bath in the sky Yomogi House - Vacation STAY 93125v se trouve à Tōkamachi, à respectivement 42 km, 32 km et 38 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Station de ski de Maiko, Akasakayama... Everything. Definitely do it. We came in the snow and felt so comfy and it was so private. We all just kept going wow look where we are. The view was amazing, the staff also. I want to come back in the spring.

This place had everything that we wanted like cookwares, basic seasonings. Only ingredients were needed. We could watch Netflix with 5.1 speaker. The bathtub was enough big. I smelled the water hot spring but not sure it was. Room was so clean and great atmosphere. The owner and his wife were nice too.

Perfect for family and groups. The host gave very detail check in instructions before arrival. AC was already turned on when we arrived which was perfect as it was a very hot day. Bonus: there’s YouTube prime and Netflix already installed on the smart TV
