Wafu Guesthouse is a place to stay with a traditional Japanese style. I really enjoyed staying here because the host welcomed us warmly and respectfully. The host was very kind and fulfilled all our requests and questions. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Fujikawaguchiko in the future.

Great view, and beatiful rooms. But the staff went every extra mile to serve all our needs. Would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in kawaguchiko.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Love everything, especially our in-room staff Mutsumi. She made tea for us and prepared us for dinner - made us feel so welcome. Dinner was the best I ever had in a hotel! We are lucky enough to see Fuji-san from our room considering it's summer. Private and public onsen are great also roof-top foot spa (get a really clear view of Fuji-san on the roof top). Breakfast buffet is perfect - alll you can drink matcha latte!! Location is great, we walked to Fuji-san rope way in the morning. Parking is free and just across the street.

The place is spacious and it’s very suitable for a family with younger kids. They have toys, complete tableware for kids. We spent five nights there.

The place is old and has a very unique vibe to it. It’s actually 200 years old. The pictures show exactly how big it is, and it’s filled with all the facilities you need. The location is right next to the lake, and a few steps away from an amazing view of mount fugi. The host also offers bike for the use of the visitors free of charge, and it’s a great way to explore the nearby town, or go around lake kawaguchi. Close to convenient stores and good restaurants, I had an amazing time.
