The apartment was very clean, comfortable, with all necessary things: dishes, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and filtered drinking water. We were welcomed with cool lemonades and chocolates. Jawfer was very helpful with suggestions and information. The location is perfect—in the center, but a quiet region. I truly suggest it!

The location is excellent and it is also convenient with regards to shopping and or treatments. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. The pool, gym and other amenities are a plus, too. A nice, quiet place to stay in the Cinnamon Gardens away from the frenetic city center. The rooms are large and bright and the house is lovely. The host is very wonderful and helpful, a delight to talk to. We really enjoyed our stay there. We’d be happy to stay there again on our next trip to Sri Lanka. There is not much to eat around the guest house, it is a quiet residential neighborhood with sports fields and offices and such. It is quite pleasant to walk around. A 200-300 rupee tuk tuk ride will bring you to several places to eat, bank etc. We highly, highly recommend eating at Ran Bath Organic which was recommended to us by the host. The food there is perhaps the best we had in our entire trip. Also, a short walk up Maitland is the Glomark supermarket where you can find a wide range of items, as well as alcohol and a pharmacy. Upstairs is a small food court. The food doesn’t really stand out, but if you don’t want to go very far to get something to eat, that’s the place to go. Skip the laundry at the side, it’s very expensive and very slow.

But most of all the host is very kind and friendly, she helped us with every little thing. The neighborhood is nice, a bit out of the center, but that makes it quiet, and you will find restaurants on walking distance.

The host was there to greet us and show us around this beautiful place, complete with a kitchen, laundry area , a private garden, a terrace to lounge...the whole place was artistically and tastefully done up....we fell totally in love with it..spotlessly clean....in a quiet area... ...we just wish we could have stayed here for a few more days. The homecooked food was just divine....kudos Dharshana.....thank you for making the last day of a trip so perfect...a dream home indeed

Excellent B&B! Quiet, extremely clean and gorgeous! Room was very comfortable and the internet was super fast. Sharma was so kind and sweet and cooked delicious breakfasts for us every morning!
