My hosts couldn’t have made me feel any more welcome. They are kind and generous. As a single female traveller I felt very secure in their compound. I strongly advice you book your safari with your host. He’s a confident driver with a keen eye for leopards. Don’t think saving money will serve you well, take a private tour. The guest house is situated close to the park and near to the road the dissects the park. Take an evening safari on the road if you can. The accommodation is very clean. I found it hard to leave these lovely people.

The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Even though hotel is located by the Ella-Wellawaya road, the location is very calm. Construction wasn't done in some parts of the facility. But the available rooms were at good standard. Good value to your money.

It was a great experience and one of our highlights in Sri Lanka!

Michael even brought us on a longer hike in the morning where we had some king coconuts along the way. What a great experience! Would definitely recommend.

The place is incredibly well built and you can see the love in every detail! Baghya, the host, took us with his PickUp to find elephants and with the tractor to a swimming spot at a river. The food, the family cooks for the guests, is amazing. Everything is clean and well maintained. Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!

You see elephants on the road not far south of the property and the whole experience there felt truly authentic. Highly recommended

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. When staying at the villa, guests can use private entrance. Beautiful setting! Lovely bungalows! Loved every part of it. You are not likely to see leopard but we were of course aware of this before coming. Saw a huge heard of elephants and met chief elder of the Vedha community. Super interesting. Definitely recommend coming to this magical place.

Well, I liked almost all of the said facilities and we were on a pilgrimage and the stay was for a single night. We got all what we expected and the clean and dry toilet/ bathroom was excepcional. We all agreed on that. I recoment the property to any group who seeks basic amaneties for a calm pilgrimage.
