We even got a little song from Yassin who is sort of the heart of that place. His mother treats you with really good food. Mbarak gives you an interesting tour ! Expect excellent maroccan hospitality in a little oasis close to the dessert

Eating next to the tiled pool was fantastic. Food was great, in huge portions. Mohamed and staff patiently helped us with some trip logistics. They also organized a really fun half-day tour to an ancient library, a pottery town and lunch and camel ride in the Sahara dunes at Erg Lihoudi. We loved our stay!

In some units there is a dressing room for guests to change in. This is a beautiful place quietly located a couple blocks from the main square. I really enjoyed watching the sunrise and enjoying a delightful breakfast from the rooftop balcony. This place radiates a warm and welcoming appeal and I found the bed very comfortable. Although I don't speak French or Darija, we were able to communicate effectively (partly with a translation app) and he was extremely hospitable and accommodating. I also found the area very nice to explore on foot and met many very friendly people around the city.

The property offers services including meeting and banquet facilities and evening entertainment. Absolutely stunning what these young guys managed to build there in the desert. Luxurious and very clean tents, beautifully decorated with nice carpets and cushions. They even managed to build a fully functioning private toilet, sink with running water and shower inside the tents. Mohammed, his brother and friends run the camp and have been fantastic hosts, very friendly, kind and funny. For dinner we had a wonderful meal of delicious zaalouk and other freshly made salads, the best beef tajine we have ever tasted and a lovely dessert. Breakfast the next day was also excellent. It was the perfect opportunity to enjoy and experience the desert, which in itself was breathtakingly sensational.

The exceptional design of the building conveys a relaxed ambiance that also keeps the building cool throughout the midday heat. The staff is great as is the food. The balcony is a great place to watch the sunrise and have breakfast. The surrounding area from the mountains, farms, historical sites and villages gives great opportunities for hiking around. I would highly recommend this kasbah.

It’s in heart of Zagora. But you still feel that you are in the countryside.

The guest house features a restaurant serving African cuisine, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. Kasbah Maktob is enchanting, like staying in a comfortable museum full of Berber artifacts; one is surrounded by Amazigh culture. Also provided by wonderful host Mustapha, a sculptor and musician who will play and sing after supper on the traditional gimbri, the Moroccan bass. We stayed in the top room, the family room, spacious with an incredible view from its balcony out over the palm oasis. Kasbah Tamnougalt is my favourite in Morocco, and Kasbah Maktob sits within its ancient walls. Mustapha is also a fabulous cook, so meals were delicious. One of my favourite places to stay in Morocco -- don't miss Tamnougalt and the Agdz area. Beautiful.

The Service was very nice and the food was extraordinary! Best Tajine we had in Marokko - believe me and book the Dinner as well, it‘s worth it! The place has a beautiful garden and the Kasbah is very impressive as well. The rooms are big and the pool area is very relaxing. We would stay there again! Thank you for everything!
