I found this place right where you can truly feel the Mauritian culture. After being away for 17 years, I decided to treat myself to a weekend back home, and this spot in La Gaulette was absolutely perfect. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, and exactly as shown in the photos. The view from the balcony overlooking the lagoon and Le Morne is simply breathtaking I spent hours just admiring the scenery. Communication with the owner was smooth and friendly, and I felt genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. It’s peaceful, authentic, and perfectly located if you want to explore the south or simply relax. I’ll definitely be coming back this stay reminded me why I missed Mauritius so much.

The family host is the best! The house has such a cozy and familiar energy that you understand when you get to meet them. They are so nice and welcoming that make you feel home. The areas of the house are great, clean and comfy.

This was an idyllic, quiet place by the beach, beautiful views of sunset, lovely hospitable hosts, delicious breakfast. It exceeded my expectations. Although I had a lat flight out, they graciously allowed me to stay after chckout and even provided access to a shower before I left for the airpot. AAAAA+++++!!!

Objekat LUXURY MODERN apartment - Excellent location 50m from the beach, restaurants, bars, shops je smešten u gradu Flik an Flak, na nekoliko koraka od znamenitosti Plaža Flic en Flac i 10 km od... Whole building is renovated and feels like new. It is very close to the beach Flic en Flac and there is a lot of free parking places behind the building. Very safe and quiet area. Cécile was always helpful and very friendly. Swimming pool was always open and it was good for relaxing with kids.

The apartment is very comfortable and looks just like in the pictures. The host is very kind and available if you need anything. We really enjoyed our stay 👌🏼

Great value rooms for those who want to visit Le Morne. We stayed at la Gaulette and absolutely loved it. It's just 5 minutes by car to the Le Morne Beach. Mathieu was very responsive and let us keep the luggage after the checkout. The rooms are great size, and you're surrounded by banana trees. The rooftop terrace is great for a drink in the evening. Would definitely stay again.
