The location of the property is incredible right on the water.

The view was absolutely fantastic and a joy to wake up to every morning. The house was in a lovely secluded position on the hillside and so well equipped from a fridge freezer, great coffee machine, excellent Wifi and so much more. The owner was so responsive by text and the lovely Melissa was on hand if I needed anything. She also cooked me the best meal I had on the island. There was a great little shop down the road and excellent local restaurant with a bus stop at the end of the track to get into town or to the beach or It was a 15 minute if you fancied the walk to Mourouk beach. I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe. I cannot wait to go back and can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you are wanting to experience a beautiful authentic island off the beaten track. This accommodation offers it all. A 800 metri da Grand Bay Beach, Lily Pad lodge offre un giardino, una terrazza e alloggi dotati di balcone più WiFi gratuito. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. Ho dato il voto 10 perchè Lily Pad Lodge era tutto ciò che ci aspettavamo per un soggiorno di 10 giorni a Rodrigues. Con un atmosfera rustica e basica ma attrezzato e pratico riflette la realtà dell'isola stessa. Proprietario attento e cortese. Staff gentile. Abbiamo usato il sistema bus pubblico e visitato senza problemi tutta Rodrigues. Fermata vicina che ti collega ogni mezzora a Port Mathurin. Dalla stazione bus centrale partono frequentemente le corse per tutte le direzioni. Attenzione i bus non ci sono la Domenica e terminano le corse alle 18! Il tocco del cestino con il pane e la viennoiserie al mattino è un plus simpatico che rende il soggiorno indimenticabile.
