We spent 5 wonderful days at Unwind Dhigurah and only wish we could've spent more time here! There are only 6 rooms in this guesthouse so the service was fantastic as we got individual attention... from arrival to and from Male airport, our breakfast, and our daily excursions. Manoj, the hotel manager, was so pleasant and hospitable. And the staff keeps the place impeccably clean despite the level of sand that can be brought in. Also, we appreciated that the bikini beach was right next to the hotel and there were tasty options closeby. The hotel works with Dhigurah Divers which is a locally family owned business. Sammy, Usa, and the other guys taking us on the excursions know the area very well and we had so much fun seeing whale sharks, manta rays, beautiful fish, sharks, and doing our first discovery dive! Overall, our experience with this hotel exceeded our expectations and we hope to return!

It is really clean, well designed, and methodically run. From pickup at the airport to departure from the property, everything was smooth and very well organized. The food provided for breakfast is more than generous, and they probably have the best meals on the island. The owners of the property, Mr. Amjad and his wife are the kindest, nicest people you can meet and they never say no to any request. They went above and beyond to make sure that our stay at their property and then later on at another property (sadly we had to move because we had booked this at the last minute and they only had availability for the first half of our stay) went smoothly. Even when we left Ayira, we knew that we could always turn to them for help and they were always there to answer our questions and checked on us till we left the island. The staff were also polite, friendly and very respectful. We had the best stay there and will surely be going back.

Located in Thoddoo, less than 1 km from Thoddoo Beach, Manta Stay Thoddoo, Maldives has a private beach area, an open-air bath and rooms with free WiFi access. The property features garden views. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. My wife and I spent 2 weeks at Manta Stay and we are absolutely delighted with the entire experience. The room was always clean and well equipped (air conditioning, ceiling fan, fridge, very comfortable bed, child's bed, TV set). The rooms are next to each other but there's a very good acustic separation. The bathroom was also clean and fully functional. Excellent breakfasts, especially the local ones served every other day. The owner is exceptionally nice - always making sure that everything is fine and taking care of everything we needed (e.g. money exchange, transfer from & to the airport etc.). The personel was also very kind and helpful, even occasionally helping with entertaining our little child. The island itself is also a good choice, as it has an authentic local atmosphere, while offering a good choice regarding beaches, restaurants, shops and health care - everything is well balanced there, which is very important if you go with a small child.
