Our host worked hard to connect with us, and to make our stay a good one. He had to balance caring for each of the people staying there. And, of course, he has his own family he must not ignore. The breakfasts he makes for us are varied, healthy, simple, but tasty. The location was perfect. We lived in a real neighborhood, which meant the dogs barked, there were sometimes odd neighbor noises, construction here and there, but everything eventually quieted down at night. I didn't fit into the house very well. I am tall and getting older, and I think it's an environment that works for the young and slightly more compact person. But, I still loved it just the same. I'd certainly stay there again if in Patan.

Highly recommended. Lovely neighborhood to explore with friendly locals and very few tourists. Great experience.

The owner and his son were very helpful and informative and the location couldn't have been better - within walking distance of Kathmandu Durbar square and Thamel. We felt like we were staying in a real Nepalese home.

Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The apartment has family rooms. This is really nice and cozy place. Very quiet during nights no barking dogs around. Beautiful garden inside with many plants and Pomelo trees. Hot shower. Drinking water for free even hot that you can make a nice tea for yourselfs. The guy Amir works there is super nice and like to help with anything you need. The bed is nice and hard so very comfy!! Not too far away from centre of Thamel 🙏 Once well be back we definitely stay in this place. 💛

Ideally situated in the centre of Kathmandu, Andrew Home is a recently renovated apartment, providing free WiFi and parking on-site. It is located less than 1 km from Hanuman Dhoka and features a shared kitchen. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. This was my third time at Andrew home. And as always, it was a very nice stay. Everything was perfect. I was picked up. My room was, as always, very clean and you have everything you need. The shared guest kitchen is a great place to socialize with other guests. It is only 10 minutes to the center of Thamel. The breakfast and dinner were very tasty. The accommodation has a nice Nepalese flair. Thanks to the host for this wonderful stay. I will definitely be back.

The accommodation provides room service and a housekeeping service for guests. The most chill place ever. Location is beautiful, loved looking at the view all day long. They also offer very tasty food and help you organise trips/safari. Staff is very kind and polite. The perfect chill-out place in Sauraha.

Front dest manager Om and his team are amazing! Very kind and welcoming.

I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

My friend and I had such a wonderful time at Tara’s Guest house. As everyone has already said it, it is a wonderful family in which everyone goes out of their way to help and support you. They are always smiling! From the didi who made our rooms, to aunty who took us around the village on our first day, to Vicky who is always there to help you with any kind of bookings, we are grateful for their warmth and hospitality! :)

The property has quiet street views and is 200 metres from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 12 km from Patan Durbar Square. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. I am a single solo woman traveller and Navin was so entousiastic that I stayed at his homestay. It is a nice family who make you feel so welcome in their house. I would like to experience the Nepalese way of life, and I did. I went with him on his morning prayers, ate the same as the family, went to see the Kathmandu Valley by scooter (everybody drives like They are crazy, but I felt very safe with Navin. And the best part is that he takes his guests to festiviteit/parties, also of his family. So I was invited to the celebration of his 6 months old nephew, who ate his First Rice. It was a party with more than 200 persons, eating and dancing. And They all liked it that I was there too, so nice. So blessed to experience this.
