AMU- Apartamentos Mistérios da Urzelina is a recently renovated apartment in Urzelina, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The property was built in 1943 and features air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. The apartment provides mountain views, a picnic area, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Great apartment in beautiful Sao Jorge. The apartment is very modern, spacious and decorated with good taste. The beautiful wooden ceiling makes the whole place especially cosy. It is all newly refurbished , and exceptionally clean. Very comfortable beds and fully equiped kitchen. Great barbecue area in the garden. Within walking distance of picturesque Urzelina. The host really went out of her way to help us on various occasions and even arranged for a taxi to pick us up a couple of times. We had a great stay and spend quite some time in the apartment as we were unlucky with the weather during our stay. Highly recommended.

A very comfortable space. The grounds are beautiful. Our hosts were so accommodating and responsive, always asking what we needed, and giving those thoughtful little touches that make your stay that much better. The fireplace was so nice in the evenings. Just a lovely place overall. We also liked that it was situated in the middle of the north coast of the island, so traveling to see things both east and west was easy.

Never met the hosts, and they always answered in portuguese (thank god for google translate), but they were transparent and quick to answer. The place in itself is perfect. Right in the center, walking distance to everything. Paid parking 5 min, free parking 10 min away.

Quinta da Paz is a dream place to spend your holidays. Being in the middle of the Island, has the perfect location to go up and down during your stay in the island. Claudia, its owner, is the clear example of a true hostess. Attentive to every detail from the very first moment, she makes you feel at home. She has created a wonderful idyllic space, a complex of 6 apartments that offers you things that until now I had never found before, and everything free, at no added cost. A pool, a jacuzzi, a barbecue to use whenever you want and with everything you need without having to look for it on your own, two Washing machines and a dryer, a mini football field and beautiful views of a meadow where cows graze. On the complex there are also some animals which makes the day to the children. A parrot named Lara, few peacocks and some hens whose fresh eggs you can take and eat as many you wish. Each of the apartments is perfectly equipped but above all, full with everything you need on the first day. Water, coffee, tea, salt, sugar, oil, kitchen paper... it seems silly, but when you don't go to a hotel but to an apartment, having the minimum on the first day before you go to a supermarket, helps a lot. Claudia has only one employee, Nicole, who is in charge of cleaning your apartment whenever you want, and who is at the villa from 9 till 19 pm taking care that all is ok. As it couldn’t be other way, she is as kind as Claudia, always with an smile on her face and ready to help. During the eight days we spent there we felt the peace and quietness of a private place, as if it were our own home, only much bigger and with all the open beautiful spaces explained above. We practically felt as if we were alone. Without any doubt the best place we’ve been so far. Thank you

First of all it was sparkling clean, very white towels, and modern design, new furniture and bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen, though we did not cook, but prepared breakfast. The view is great, you can enjoy a silent sunrise. We were alone and it was all about tranquility. Large parking About 20 min to the airport and also to Angra do Heroismo. Just like in the photos. Just a few hundred meters- a small beach (volcanic, not with sand) You have a Continente supermarket a couple of km away, because nearby… well.. maybe because it was september.. we had difficulties to find restaurants. Out flight got delayed a couple of hours and the owner allowed us to check out later, so again thanks! We were really happy with our choice, since it was a great stay

We had a couple of special requests, and they were always very helpful. The breakfast was very nice, prepared with fresh products. The room was spacious and top-notch clean, and the mattress was amazingly comfortable. The location is super nice, walking distance to the beach and marina. We definitely loved our stay and would like to come back one day!
