Extremely clean, very quiet, and the accomodation offers everything you need, including a private courtyard. We couldn’t have wished for more. The location very close to the ferry terminal was another bonus as we took the ferry to Pico Island.

We had one rainy morning in which we read our books in the sitting room area, which was cozy and quiet. The breakfast was very nicely appointed as well. We had the family room, which was larger than we needed, but allowed us to spread out nicely. We would have liked to stay for longer!

Lucia and her husband are the sweetest people ever with the biggest hearts. Lucia shared a wealth of information regarding the island, the history, and the wonderful shops and restaurants in town. I had eggs from their chickens, the best honey ever from their bees, fresh bread daily, various fruits from their garden, and so much more. The house is so beautiful, comfy, and cozy.. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to hike and explore the countryside as I planned because of the extensive rain, so I was so glad I was in a place I truly enjoyed being. I wish I had booked more days there but will definitely return.

There was a delicious breakfast in the mornings with homemade items such as yogurt, jams and cake to go along with the other breakfast items. Coffee and cake were available throughout the day. There was labeled spaces in the fridge to leave your items and then kitchen had all of the cooking items you would need. The rooms were nice with a little balcony and great view of Mount Pico. Great location on the island.

We also loved the whale decor and the view of the harbour! The location is also very nice, just in the heart of the town. Overall the stay was very pleasant and good value. Highly recommend!

The room was facing the sea and it was very close to Porto Pim beach and within walking distance to Horta city center. There are cafés and restaurants around, but the house has two shared kitchens, so cooking there is also an option. It's also possible to see Pico island if the weather allows it. Definitely a great place to stay!
