Featuring a garden and views of city, Light of Zanzibar Hotel is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Nungwi, 200 metres from Nungwi Beach. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with PS4. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the garden and inner courtyard. The location was great, staff were so friendly and willing to help in any way, nothing was a problem. The bed was very comfortable, great shower and air conditioning. The breakfast was lovely and it varied from day to day. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is truly a gem and the property manager is one of the very best things about this small hotel! There are only 5 rooms but the layout and common areas make for a very comfortable and safe place with a great vibe. All of the staff are very competent and very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are very clean with great AC as well as ceiling fans. The small pool was clean and wonderful. The breakfast changes daily and is exceptional with lots of fresh fruit, juice, coffee or tea and different dishes with eggs or pancakes or toast. The manager also recommended several restaurants that are an easy walk on the beach including a wonderful Italian restaurant next door. We highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel and hope to return in the future.

Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was healthy and delicious. Zuzanu was really helpful in terms of suggestions of things to do and places to eat. This is an excellent place to stay and I would strongly recommend it.

I love everything about the property, very close to the village where you can find supermarket, restaurants, and any other kind of tour that I was looking for. 1min walking to the beach , not packed beach and with very chilled vibes, perfect for couples and families. The rooms are beautiful and comfortables, details oriented. Pool just for us anytime we wanted , and the fact that they don’t do the cleaning everyday for the climate impact we found it very ecological and nice, something that we appreciate.
