We had the best time at Plastic Bottles House, David took such good care of us! Loved the meaningful use of plastic bottles as a building material, the initiatives to support the local community, and the beautiful fruit trees all throughout the property. David is an avid birder (ranked #1 and #2 on ebird in Central Uganda!) and is the founder of the Entebbe Birding Club. Birders or aspiring birders are in for a treat, he really knows all about birds! Be sure to check out his bird photography and the shoebill tour (which we did and were lucky to see 2 shoebills and lots of other beautiful birds)! What a nice way to close out our Uganda trip!

The staff were kind, polite, attentive and efficient. The place is new and well organized (I gather that this is a new location). There was no clutter and the garden was relaxing and lovely. The location is peaceful and quiet, and is perfect for those who want privacy. I was traveling for work so I needed to use the internet and it was reliable. The room that was assigned to me was really great - it was not cramped and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and there was sufficient pressure for the shower.

I stayed here for my first night in Uganda to get ready for my safari trip, I told the staff that I'm going to check out very early at 5:00 am, and they were kind enough to pack the breakfast for me. The place was very nice and some how quite, despite some construction going on next to it, which was not the hotel's fault. Also, I walked for like 5 minutes to Victoria Mall to get my sim card and I had lunch there!

Despite a twice time flight change that led to my arrival after midnight Charles was waiting to pick me up at the airport and Geoffrey was cheerfully welcoming. The deco is outstanding.
