I got the chance to meet Miad’s dad who drove me to and from the airpot, took me to a shopping mall and suggested a nice spot to get some food. He was the highlight of my stay, very genuine, helpful, kind and hospitable. I initially booked the place because I read from reviews that they offered to pick and drop their guests from and to the airpot, to my surprise it was for a much lower price compared to the normal standard around the area. The apartment is at the basement, close to the airpot and expected that you’d hear some planes fly through. It’s exceptionally clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. I was there for a single night due to a long layover. It’s perfect for both long and short stays. It’s now my go-to place if I ever fly via JFK with a long layover. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to nearby Cooperstown as recommended, and of course the fall foliage colour was splendid as we drove through. We struggled a bit navigating with our GPS but this is our first visit to the States and sometimes you find amazing places by getting lost!
